Our Work

This page shows how our team supports children and young adults in their everyday lives, fostering growth and participation in the moments that matter most.

We are actively involved in conducting and supporting research projects which are focused on improving the health and wellbeing of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disability.

Our participation-focused, neurodiversity-affirming, and trauma-transformative approach.

We work alongside children and young people in a way that truly sees and hears them. Our sessions focus on participation—helping them do the things they want and need to do in their daily lives, whether that's playing at the park, joining in at school, or feeling comfortable at home. We celebrate neurodiversity and believe every person’s unique way of experiencing the world is valuable and valid.

At the heart of everything we do is safety and connection. We understand that growth happens best when a child feels secure and understood. By combining evidence-based practice with a warm, relational approach, we support families to build the connection and skills needed for a meaningful life. We are here to walk this path with you, honoring your family’s journey with care and expertise.

Stories of Growth

Finding Confidence in the Classroom

A young student who previously struggled with sensory overload now uses self-regulation tools independently. They are participating in group activities and feeling more connected to their peers every day.

Joy in Community Play

After focusing on skill-building through play, a child is now actively joining in at the local park. The family feels more confident navigating outdoor spaces together and celebrating every new connection made.

Independence at Home

A young adult has developed a personalized routine that supports their daily living tasks. This growth in independence has fostered a sense of agency and pride in their own capabilities and home life.
